Strawberry Jam Pictures!

Motivated by my first post I decided to make jam this afternoon. The result was three full jars and a small bowl. I'll be taking a peanut butter and jam sandwich to work tomorrow. Yummy!

About Us

Cooking on a budget is a challenge for any household. The arrival of kids had made cooking a priority both in terms of nutrition and cost. As parents we constantly find ourselves struggling to balance time, money and convenience to ensure our families eat good food. While healthy pre-made convenience food exists the price is more than we are generally willing to spend and the cheap alternatives are cheap for a reason. We have a staple of recipes that our families enjoy and are hoping this blog provides a forum for new ideas, healthier or less expensive alternatives and just generally a place to share.
